Phil Hendrie Quits Radio

Innovative and avant-garde radio personality Phil Hendrie has decided to quit the radio business. Tonight will be his last live broadcast, which airs from 7-10 pm on AM 570 in Los Angeles.

Phil's talent is simply amazing. His ability to make up voices and the crazy personalities that go with them is and will be unmatchable in the entertainment business.

Some of my favorite characters/guests on the Phil Hendrie Show include:

Bobbi Dooley, the snotty president of a local Homeowners' Association.
Clara Bingham, the over-the-top teacher at Joyful Union Congregation School (in South Central LA) who constantly accuses Phil of being a "racist."
Lloyd Bonafide, the angry old Korean War veteran from Alhambra, CA.
Margaret Gray, the arrogant Hollywood insider and columnist of "A Little Bird Told Me."
