FAIRBANK: FREE AMOS YEE

In an unusually blunt statement, Mr. Jonathan Fairbank of the Fairbank Report, ordered the Singaporean government to release young blogger Amos Yee from incarceration.  Mr. Fairbank's statement reads in part as follows:

Whereas the Government of the Republic of Singapore has violated international norms and conventions on the freedom of expression and speech in its harsh treatment of Amos Yee, I hereby direct the President and Prime Minister of said republic to release Mr. Yee forthwith...

This Fairbank Report had earlier awarded its "Person of the Year" prize to Amos Yee for extraordinary courage.
