ZHUGUO WANSUI!!!: CHINA'S 70 YEARS OF LIBERATION
Seventy years after Mao Zedong declared in front of Tiananmen Square that China had stood up, China has risen to challenge the declining superpower that is the United States. In fact, in many areas of economic life, China has overtaken the USA. For example, the Chinese Republic is much better at building big infrastructural projects than America. Its application of IT and wireless technology leaves America envious. Its gross domestic product (GDP) in purchasing parity terms exceeded that of the US in October 2014. And in less than five years, China's dollar-based GDP will overtake that of America.
So, by the time the People's Republic marks its 100th founding, it will have completely displaced the US as the supreme power in the world. And rightfully so because its people and leaders are smart, diligent, and strategic.

CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE THE PRC'S 70TH
AS ANY CHILD OF THREE KNOWS, THE CIA AND ITS LAPDOG, THE BRITISH MI-6, HAVE BEEN AGITATING THE RUNNING DOGS OF WESTERN IMPERIALISM IN XIANGGANG (FORMERLY HONG KONG) TO RIOT FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS.
ONE REASON THE OLD IMPERIALISTS AND THEIR RUNNING DOGS ARE DOING THIS IS TO DISRUPT CHINA'S UPCOMING CELEBRATION OF ITS 70TH YEAR OF LIBERATION FROM IMPERIALISM ON OCTOBER 1.
BECAUSE THE PEOPLE'S LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) IS TOO STRONG TO BE DIRECTLY DEALT WITH, THESE EVIL IMPERIALISTS CHOSE XIANGGANG, WHICH THEY SEE AS CHINA'S SOFT SPOT.
THEY MAY TRY TO PLANT A BOMB AT TIANANMEN SQUARE, THE SITE OF THE UPCOMING MILITARY PARADE. BUT THEY WILL FAIL BECAUSE THE PLA, THE WORLD'S MIGHTIEST ARMY, WILL PROTECT ITS HOMELAND (ZHUGUO).
SO, HERE'S A PREVIEW OF THE UPCOMING MAGNIFICENT PARADE AND CELEBRATION. WE CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE WITH OUR CHINESE COMRADES.

Qi Lai: China Officially Overtakes USA as the Largest Economy in the World!!!!!
From www.businessinsider.com
China Just Overtook The US As The World's Largest Economy
Chris Giles at the Financial Times flagged up the change. He also alerted us in April that it was all about to happen.
Basically, the method used by the IMF adjusts for purchasing power parity, explained here.
The simple logic is that prices aren't the same in each country: A shirt will cost you less in Shanghai than in San Francisco, so it's not entirely reasonable to compare countries without taking this into account. Though a typical person in China earns a lot less than the typical person in the US, simply converting a Chinese salary into dollars underestimates how much purchasing power that individual, and therefore that country, might have. The Economist's Big Mac Index is a great example of these disparities.
So the IMF measures both GDP in market-exchange terms and in terms of purchasing power. On the purchasing-power basis, China is overtaking the US right about now and becoming the world's biggest economy.
We've just gone past that crossover on the chart below, according to the IMF. By the end of 2014, China will make up 16.48% of the world's purchasing-power adjusted GDP (or $17.632 trillion), and the US will make up just 16.28% (or $17.416 trillion):

Down with Traitorous HK Protesters!
For 150 years, the running dogs of Hong Kong had obediently accepted harsh British rule without question. The Governor of Hong Kong was appointed by the unelected Queen of England. There was no legislative body. The Governor was the law.
Now young running dogs of imperialism in Hong Kong are demanding so-called democracy. They are egged on and funded by MI-6, the CIA, and the Kuomintang (KMT) of Taiwan, all of whom fear China's rise and seek to destabilize it.
Hong Kongers have enjoyed legislative representation in the form the Hong Kong Legislative Council. And unlike the Governor of British Hong Kong, the Chief Executive, under China's generous "one country, two systems," is elected by an electoral college of 1,200 men and women.
Clearly, the troublemakers are out to destroy for the sake of destruction. Some are even seen waving the old British colonial flag! Such insolence! Such traitorous behaviour!
Alas, the Chinese government is strongly supported by its 1.3 billion people, and in fact, the majority of the people of Hong Kong is opposed to the thuggish mobs rallying in central Hong Kong.
Foreign penetrators and evil saboteurs SHALL NOT SUCCEED. Aiwo Zhonghua!

Another epic song for the YOG, which started today in Nanjing, China.
I swear the international Olympics movement is so broke that they are foisting the burden of hosting all these games on China and Asia!

China 'reveals army structure' in defence white paper
China has revealed the structure of its military units, in what state-run media describe as a first.
The army has a total of 850,000 soldiers, while the navy and
air force have a strength of 235,000 and 398,000, China said in its
defence white paper. The paper also criticised the US's expanded military presence in the Asia Pacific, saying it had exacerbated regional tensions.
China's defence budget rose by 11.2% in 2012, exceeding $100bn (£65bn).
The defence white paper, which state media describe as China's 8th since 1998, emphasised China's "unshakable national commitment... to take the road of peaceful development".

Now, it seem the generals have forged a new marketing strategy.
In its latest white paper, the defence ministry takes pains to outline the PLA's work relating to peacekeeping and natural disasters.
It confirms information on the military's structure that previously was only available from analysts outside mainland China: The names of the PLA's divisions and brigades and the numbers of active personnel they contain, in addition to the missile line-up.
Of course, the PLA is far from an open book; a great deal of information is still classified. However, the bid to come across as a modern, professional military with nothing to hide marks a change from times past.
According to the white paper, China's ever-expanding military follows one over-arching principle: "We will not attack unless we are attacked; but we will surely counter-attack if attacked."

China's People's Liberation Army is on a fast path to
modernisation. Following years of double-digit budget increases, the
military has acquired submarines and naval destroyers. Aircraft carriers
and Chinese-made fighter planes are in development. In 2010, technology
to destroy missiles in mid-air was tested. Now, it seem the generals have forged a new marketing strategy.

According to the white paper, China's ever-expanding military follows one over-arching principle: "We will not attack unless we are attacked; but we will surely counter-attack if attacked."
However, it highlighted "multiple
and complicated security threats" facing China, and China's need to
protect its "national unification, territorial integrity and development
interests".
'Strategic deterrence'
The white paper reveals details of China's military structure.
According to state-run news agency Xinhua, this is the first time such
information has been disclosed publicly.Correspondents say this appears to be part of an effort, on the part of the Chinese military, to become more transparent.
The territorial army has 18 combined corps in seven military area commands: Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Lanzhou, and Jinan.
The air force has 398,000 personnel and an air command in the same seven military areas, while the navy commands three fleets: the Beihai Fleet, the Donghai Fleet and the Nanhai Fleet, the paper said.
The paper also describes the role of China's second artillery force, which contains China's nuclear and conventional missile forces.
The force is crucial to China's "strategic deterrence", and is "primarily responsible for deterring other countries from using nuclear weapons against China, and carrying out nuclear counterattacks and precision strikes with conventional missiles," the paper said.
Maritime disputes The paper also criticised the US's increased presence in the region.
"The US is adjusting its Asia-Pacific security strategy," it said, adding later that "some country has strengthened its Asia-Pacific military alliances... and frequently makes the situation there tenser."
The US has increased its military presence in Asia in recent years, as part of President Barack Obama's "pivot to Asia".
The islands, known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China, are controlled by Japan but claimed by both China and Taiwan.
Separately, the paper describes "'Taiwan independence' separatist forces" as the biggest threat to cross-Straits relations.
Taiwan is an island which has for all practical purposes been independent since 1950. However, China views the island as a rebel region that must be reunited with the mainland - by force if necessary.

WOMEN HOLD UP HALF THE SKY: CHINA SENDS FEMALE INTO SPACE
FROM XINHUA |

The Long March-2F carrier rocket carrying China's manned Shenzhou-9 spacecraft blasts off from the launch pad at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, northwest China's Gansu Province, June 16, 2012. (Xinhua/Li Gang) |
JIUQUAN, June 16 (Xinhua) -- She is a wife. She belongs to China's one-child generation. On Saturday, 33-year-old Liu Yang becomes the country's first woman entering space.
The home-grown Shenzhou-9 spacecraft, atop an upgraded Long March-2F carrier rocket, blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 6:37 p.m. Saturday, carrying Liu and her two crew mates.
China is the third country in the world to use its own technologies to send a female into space.
Shenzhou-9 will dock with the orbiting Tiangong-1 space lab module. China's first manual space docking procedure is expected to be completed during the 13-day mission.
President Hu Jintao on Saturday congratulated the successful launch of the Shenzhou-9 manned spacecraft.
"I feel very glad to hear the success of launching the Shenzhou-9 manned spacecraft and I would like to extend warm congratulations and sincere regards to all those participating in the research and tests (of the country's space program)," Hu said in a congratulatory letter sent from Copenhagen, Denmark, where he is paying a state visit.
Born in Henan Province, a birthplace of mainstream Chinese civilizations, Liu is now a People's Liberation Army (PLA) major as well as a member of the Communist Party of China.
Once a PLA Air Force pilot, she dreamed of watching Earth from space. Liu said, "After being trained as an astronaut, I have found there is still a very long distance from sky to space. A human being is so minute in space."
Women had long occupied a low social status in China's feudal past. As late as more than 100 years ago, women in Liu's hometown traditionally had to bind their feet to please men and share their polygamous husbands with other women.
Since the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949, women have "held up half the sky."
"I feel honored to fly into space on behalf of hundreds of millions of Chinese females," Liu told the press Friday afternoon.
She is mandated to conduct medical experiments and other space tests during the mission.
Liu has been described by her two crew mates as being "outgoing, sincere, well-versed and sensitive."
Like most Chinese of her generation, Liu is the only child of her family. In her colleagues' eyes, she is "diligent and hardworking."
She spent about two years on a space flight training program that usually takes three to five years to complete.
"Despite a late start for training as an astronaut, she is now on the same page with us, which exceeds our expectations," Jing Haipeng, commanding officer of the Shenzhou-9 mission, said.
Jing was also impressed by swiftness and decisiveness Liu displayed during training sessions, citing her calm manner in responding to simulated emergencies.
However, the difficulty and intensity of her training did not deprive her of life pleasures. Liu loves reading novels, essays and history books. She is a proficient cook and a good homemaker. Each lamp at her home was meticulously selected by Liu and her husband.
Liu's husband serves the PLA Air Force. Liu shed tears while mentioning his all-out support for her astronautic career.
She and her husband longed for having a child, but "it has to be planned after the manned space docking mission," she said.
"Space exploration activities would be incomplete without participation of female astronauts," Chen Shanguang, director of the Astronaut Research and Training Center of China, said.
To date, more than 50 women have traveled into space. Soviet astronaut Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space on June 16, 1963.
Space accidents, however, killed 21 astronauts, including four women.
Australian space analyst Morris Jones told Xinhua that the Shenzhou-9 mission was another big step for China and the world. "We need to see more women in space across the entire world's space programs. It also boosts public interest in spaceflight."
Science fiction writer Ling Chen said to Xinhua that she wished a Chinese woman be the first female to set foot on the moon and the first to give birth in space.

Why Obama Blinked...
By John Cooper-Bassett
Clearly the Anointed One, the Messiah, the putative Orator from the Ghetto blinked in the Chen Guangcheng case.
Mr. Chen, a self-taught Chinese legal worker who is also blind, had been held in detention as well as under house arrest in Shandong province. A few days ago, Mr. Chen, with the help of friends, escaped Shandong and popped up at the U.S. embassy in Beijing. Today, the United States Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Gary Locke, personally delivered Mr. Chen to the awaiting Chinese authorities in the guise of a hospital visit in the Chaoyang district of Beijing.
Flash back to 1989. The late human rights activist, Professor Fang Lizi (who passed away in Arizona last month), sought refuge in the same US Embassy immediately after the Tiananmen Square crackdown. The George H.W. Bush Administration fought off the Chinese authorities for over a year. Finally, the United States won concession from the late Deng Xiaoping to let Professor Fang and his family emigrate to the United States.
So what happened between 1989 and 2012?
1. China became the second largest economy in the world and is poised to overtake the United States as the biggest economic powerhouse by 2016.
2. China now has the second most powerful military forces in the world.
3. At $3 trillion, China has the largest foreign exchange reserve in the world.
4. China holds $1 trillion in United States public debt.
5. The United States is run by a group of untested frat boys led by an inexperienced community organizer while China is governed by a cadre of seasoned political veterans who are backed up by a larger group of PhDs.
Coincidentally, the collapse of American political power and prestige is also revealed in the recent mad-cow scare. Last week, the US announced that a California cow was diagnosed with mad-cow disease. The Koreans have sent a delegation of animal husbandry experts to inspect the farm in question. This was what the United States used to do to third-world banana republics when something went awry in one of their production plants.
Now that the US has become the proverbial banana republic, one would hardly blink an eye when it is suggested that United Nations observers should be sent to monitor the presidential election in November in order to ensure transparency and a clean election…
