Why the Woke Want to Force Diane Feinstein to Quit the Senate

 Yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle did a hit piece on its most famous native daughter, California's senior senator Diane Feinstein.  The paper alleges that Senator Feinstein (aged 88) has been experiencing acute mental decline and that she's unfit to serve out the rest of her term, which ends in 2024.

Why do the woke media and their allies want to remove Senator Feinstein now?  They could have left her alone and let her finish out her term with class?  They would have, except for one thing.  

The oily and cringeworthy governor, Gavin Gruesome Newsom, of the not-so-Golden State -- in a moment of wokeness -- promised that he would appoint a black woman to replace Feinstein, if she retires -- or is forced to retire. Yep, he pulled a Biden.  So, the knives are coming out to remove Feinstein so that the former used car salesman turned governor could appoint his black woman.

Now it all comes together.  Especially in light of the fact that there's currently no prominent black woman who could win a statewide election.  By trying to force Senator Feinstein out, the wokies want to ensure that their black girl has two years of seat time and the advantage of incumbency to win re-election in 2024.

So, this is how they treat one of their own.  We hate to think how they would treat their enemies.  Actually, we know how.  Look at what they did to Trump.

While we are no fans of DiFi, we say to her, "Stick it to them, girrrlll.  Stay in office until 2024.  In fact, why not run for re-election in 2024!!!"

Both the Left and the Right are Egging for War with China

Not sure why this is the case that both the Left and the Right in the United States are egging for war with China.  It could be racism.  It could be late-stage hegemony.  It could be brinksmanship.  It could be late-stage capitalism trying to squeeze the last cent of profit before dooming the world.

These warmongers are silly.  A war with China means nuclear war.  Which means the kind of destruction that could wipe out all life forms on earth.

With an aged and unsteady US president at the helm, these warmongers could kill us all.  I would say, "Run for your lives."  But there's nowhere to hide.

The Fall of Kabul and the End of the American Century

 It's happened again.  US choppers are frantically and chaotically ferrying American personnel out of another embassy rooftop as enemy forces capture the capital city.

It happened in Saigon, Vietnam on April 30, 1975, and is happening right now in Kabul, Afghanistan.  In Vietnam, millions of Vietnamese lives were left uprooted and upended.  The same will happen in Afghanistan.  As the former Republic of Vietnam President scathingly and bitterly reminded the world in the 1970s, "Don't trust the Americans.  They will betray you."

Another way to view this is that the US is experiencing late-stage hegemony.  The last time a major power pulled out of Afghanistan was the Soviet Union in 1989.  Two years later, the Soviet Union collapsed.  

We are not saying that the American regime is going to similarly collapse in two years' time.  We are saying that it is about to lose its hegemony on the global stage as the world quickly moves from unipolarity to multi-polarity with centers of power in China, the United States, and Europe.

Thus ended the American century -- with helicopters evacuating its embassy as rag-tag soldiers from a by-gone era enter Kabul.  Unfortunately, these rag-tag forces will commit unspeakable crimes against humanity.  We've seen it before.

Amerikkka is a piece of shite

Recent violent attacks and killings against Asians and Asian-Americans throughout Amerika is but only the latest iteration of a trend that has been ongoing for about 200 years.  Sometimes, they kill and beat us.  Oftentimes, they discriminate against us in terms of educational and job opportunities.  

They attack us because:

**until recent days, these acts were condoned and encouraged by governments at various levels.  Note that the District Attorney of San Francisco, who is the city's chief law enforcement officer, refers to a recent attack against a Chinese elder as a mere temper tantrum.  The Sheriff in one of the Atlanta-area counties remarks that the murderer of Korean and Chinese women at the day spas was just having "a bad day."

**we are politically weak.  For the most part, we are self-reliant and self-sufficient; therefore, we don't organize to lobby for governmental funding and support.  Going forward, we need to organize for and by ourselves.  The existing so-called civil rights outfits haven't lifted a finger to help our people.

**we are too good-looking.  In a recent Fairbank Group poll among young people living in Canada and the United States, the ethnic group voted most sexually desirable is Asians.  In this regard, I call on my Asian bros and sis to not look so stunning anymore.  Please cut down on the K-pop fashion and make-up until the crisis subsides.

In the meantime, this Fairbank Report calls on the Honourable President and Chairman Xi Jinping of the magnificent People's Republic of China to send a warship (preferably the carrier Liaoning) to San Francisco to provide much needed security protection to the Chinese and other East Asian communities.  The People's Liberation Army soldiers and sailors will be greeted as liberators!

Only the Elites are Benefiting

 The African-American intellectual, Economist Thomas Sowell, saw it coming 50 years ago.  He said, then, that affirmative action only benefited those who least deserved it.  And he went on to prove it using impeccable economic logic.

Half a century later, we're still at it, which only goes to show that the laws of economics and economic behaviour are just as enduring as those of thermodynamics.

In light of last summer's riots and sudden wokeness, my African-American friends and colleagues have been inundated with excellent job offers.  The few honest ones confess that they are not ready for these executive roles, even as aggressive recruiters try to convince them otherwise.

These friends and colleagues of mine, all well educated and privileged, don't need these job offers.  Those who need jobs and opportunities are the less privileged blacks who don't have the education, training, or experiences needed to break into solid, middle-class jobs.  But Corporate America is not going to offer these needy folks good jobs because doing so hurts the bottom line.  So, they do what all good liberals have been trained to do:  virtue-signal that they are good people by creating equity officer and diversity officer positions that could be shoved to the side of an org chart.  In fact, to these corporate titans, it's just play-acting.  

Oh, they will pay these lucky folks very well and give them generous titles like VP of Diversity or Chief Equity Officer.  To Corporate America, it's just a budgeted cost of doing business in this new environment of wokeness.

In the meantime, nothing has changed or will ever change.  The few elites will benefit greatly, and the large majority of blacks keep waiting for their turn at the American Dream.

Palpable Fear

In light of the weeks-long social unrest throughout the United States instigated by the daylight murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer, things are happening in the America that will have permanent repercussions.

Although it feels like several months ago, it has, in fact, been less than a month that Floyd was killed.  So, the country is still in shock, and people and institutions are reacting under high adrenaline.

Some of these reactions include the dismissal of people from their jobs for holding a different view of the riots/people's democratic revolution/revolt/protests/uprising from that of the dominant narrative espoused by the racialists.

Others include the pulling down of historical statues and renaming of public edifices.  By the way, these two actions occur in every revolution.

Facebook and other media are being pilloried for continuing to carry "undesirable" contents.   They will probably cave to political and social pressures in the coming weeks.

No doubt the fervor will eventually die down, and cooler heads will prevail.  Equally true is that the new normal is going to be very different from the old normal in America.  Freedom of speech and expression has gotten a bit less free.  While extant, the "out-of-bound" markers for what one can say and do just got a bit tighter and may be formalized in the form of a list of topics that one can and cannot say, as they have in Singapore.

It's interesting to note that in China, since the Deng Xiaoping reforms of the late 1970s, the space for civil society has grown exponentially, while in the United States -- land of the free -- that space has diminished.  Of course, on the absolute scale, we remain leaps and bounds freer than Red China.  But on the trajectory level, we are moving in a less free direction.  Which is not necessary a bad thing but an interesting development.

Not sure that anyone is aware of this phenomenon because the frog is being slowly boiled...
