Avian Flu's Kill Rate at 85%

In March, we reported that the bird flu could kill half of any infected population. We, then, were dismissed as being alarmist. The incident in Indonesia has demonstrated that the avian flu has sucessfully mutated to the point of human-to-human transmission and that the subsequent kill rate is 85%. So who is being overly alarmist now?
